ABOUT CORWIN LAW

Corwin Law is a full-service legal research and writing firm for lawyers. Melissa Corwin, Esq., the founder of Corwin Law, is an accomplished New York State licensed litigation attorney with over twenty years of experience litigating civil matters of varying complexity in both State and Federal courts, including significant appellate brief writing (and arguments) before the Appellate Term, Appellate Division, the New York State Court of Appeals and the Second Circuit Court of Appeals. After many years as a Partner with a New York litigation firm, Ms. Corwin launched Corwin Law as a legal research and writing practice in order to focus exclusively on her true passion – writing. Corwin Law provides top-quality, cost-effective research and writing services to other attorneys who are too busy to (or choose not to) handle these critical aspects of their client’s cases.

Along with Ms. Corwin’s wide breadth of legal knowledge in a multitude of areas of civil and criminal substantive and procedural law, she is also a highly-skilled and persuasive legal writer, having built a reputation amongst her clients and colleagues of providing consistently clear, concise and convincing legal arguments. Ms. Corwin now uses her legal knowledge and writing skills to help other overburdened attorneys craft winning legal documents. Ms. Corwin starts each project from scratch, never using “canned”, uninspired documents, giving your client’s case the individualized attention it deserves and a much greater chance of success.
